Publication Ethics

Jurnal Inovasi Rekayasa Sistem dan Informatika (JINRASI) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. Editors, reviewers, authors, and the publisher are expected to uphold academic integrity throughout the publication process.

 

Editors Responsibilities

1.   Make publication decisions based on the scientific quality of manuscripts and peer-review results.

2.   Evaluate manuscripts fairly and without discrimination.

3.   Maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.

4.   Avoid conflicts of interest during the editorial process.

5.   Take appropriate action against publication misconduct, including plagiarism and duplicate publication.

 

Reviewers Responsibilities

1.   Provide objective, constructive, and timely reviews.

2.   Maintain the confidentiality of reviewed manuscripts.

3.   Identify relevant references and possible plagiarism.

4.   Decline reviews where conflicts of interest exist.

 

Authors Responsibilities

1.   Submit original, accurate, and honest research.

2.   Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, and falsification.

3.   Properly acknowledge all sources through appropriate citations.

4.   Do not submit the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously.

5.   Ensure that all listed authors have made significant contributions and approved the manuscript.

6.   Disclose any conflicts of interest and funding sources.

7.   Notify the editor if significant errors are discovered after publication.

 

Publisher Responsibilities

1.   Support an independent and professional editorial process.

2.   Maintain the integrity of scholarly publishing.

3.   Protect copyright, confidentiality, and editorial independence.

4.   Publish corrections or retractions when necessary.
