Peer Review Policy

Jurnal Inovasi Rekayasa Sistem dan Informatika (JINRASI) implements a Double-Blind Peer Review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed throughout the review process to ensure fairness, objectivity, and independent evaluation.

Each submitted manuscript undergoes the following review process:

  1. Initial Screening
    The editor evaluates the manuscript for its relevance to the journal's focus and scope, compliance with author guidelines, and completeness of submission.
  2. Plagiarism Screening
    All manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts that fail to meet the originality requirements may be returned or rejected.
  3. Peer Review Process
    Manuscripts passing the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant research area. The review process follows the Double-Blind model.
  4. Review Recommendation
    Reviewers provide one of the following recommendations:

·     Accept

·     Minor Revision

·     Major Revision

·     Reject

  1. Editorial Decision
    The Editor makes the final publication decision based on the reviewers' recommendations and the journal's editorial policies.
  2. Manuscript Revision
    Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers' comments within the specified revision period.

7.   Review Timeline

The average time from manuscript submission to the first editorial decision is 2–4 weeks, while the complete editorial process until publication generally takes 6–10 weeks, depending on the quality of the manuscript and the revision process.

The peer review process is conducted fairly, objectively, confidentially, and free from conflicts of interest.
